Athletics Day

When I was eight years old, our school had an Athletics Day. We all competed in lots of events, like High Jump, Long Jump, Vortex, Shot Put, Discus and Sprints. played with my toys.
First, after we walked around the field, we ran to the high jump. We jumped over the bar. Jackson and I jumped over the high bar, but no one else could jump over it.

Next, we walked to the long jump. A lot of people were winning. I was losing. Finally, at the long jump, I did win.
We ran to running and we lined up at the start. Mr Emms pulled the trigger and everyone started to run. I was going fast. I was winning at the end. My Mum was shouting to me. She was saying, "Go James! Go James!" then I got to the finish.  I won.
It was a fun day, but I was very tired when I got home from school that afternoon.

Pet Day

One day, it was the pet day at school.
I asked my sister if I could take her goldfish to school. She said yes. I put the goldfish in a plastic container. They swam around but, when we put the goldfish in the car, the water swayed. It was hard for them. It was hard for them because the water was splashing everywhere and, when they went to go somewhere, they kept on going back where they were.
When I got to school no one was at school so my dad took me to a playground.
At last, my dad took me to school. I put my goldfish in the hall with the other animals.
When it was time for the parade, I got my goldfish and went to the court. Everyone was in acircle and I took the goldfish around the school.
After we showed them the pets, we took them back to the hall.
